Patricia Schuessler, age 74 of Iowa City passed away Friday, July 23, 2004 at her home surrounded by her family.
Private services were held at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City, with burial taking place at the Lone Tree Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made in her memory to Iowa City Hospice.
Patricia was born June 19, 1930, in Iowa City the daughter of Everett and Irene (Sorensen) Hogan. She married Marvin Schuessler of Lone Tree on September 4, 1951.
Her family includes her husband, Marvin; three daughters, Cheryl Schuessler and her husband, Doug Gilbert of Castle Rock, CO, Karen Schuessler of Ridgefield, CT, and Cynthia Bartmann and her husband, Dave of Centennial, CO; four grandchildren, Stephanie Bartmann, Jessica Bartmann, Danielle Schuessler Gilbert, and Andri Schuessler Gilbert; sister-in-law, Verlee Hogan of Iowa City; and many special nieces and nephews living in Iowa, Virginia, California, Colorado, and Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and four brothers.
