Pearl Eibeck, age 79, of Burlington and formerly of Iowa City, died on June 7, 2004 at Great River Medical Center in Burlington following a short illness.

Funeral services will at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 11, 2004 at Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Pearl Eibeck Memorial Fund. Pearl Eibeck was born on March 17, 1925 in Mascot, Tennessee the daughter of John and Hattie Warrick Cass. She married Preston Eibeck on August 22, 1947 in Sequin, Texas. Pearl enjoyed shopping, bingo, yard sales, antiques and gambling.

Her family includes her daughters, Laura and husband, Herb Mager of Las Vegas, Nevada, Nancy and husband, Tim Love of Burlington, Iowa, one grandson, Jason Beemer; and Pearl’s friend and companion, Robert Root of Burlington, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and two sisters. Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service is caring for Pearl family and her services.
