GRIM REAPER TAKES A TOLL OF FIVE TODAY
Situation Improves but Deaths Continue as After Effect

The death toll of the university and the city today totals five as follows from pneumonia and influenza:

Previous reported 26-- Today's toll 5-- present total 31.
Anna Gertrude Kondora, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kondora, of Rochester road.
Elmer Johnson, of Bruner, Minnesota, member S.A.T.C.
Otaah Williams, Spirit Lake, age 21, S.A.T.C., son of George Williams.
Paul S. Cochran, age 29, senior dental student, son of Mrs. Viola Cochran, Elwood, Iowa.
Vivian Lena Stanfield, 5 year old daughter of Claude Stanfield, near Tiffin.

Still Improving
In the university the situation as to new cases still improves, there were seven new cases yesterday and many discharged from the hospitals. There are a number who are very low and more deaths are expected.

In the city the change is for the better. Only twenty new cases were reported in the last twenty-four hours. This is about half the number yesterday and before that the number was much more each day.
