Iowa City Citizen, Iowa City (Johnson Co.), Iowa, 18 October 1918.

Eastman-Spies Wedding.
Miss Olive E. Eastman and Leiutenant Warren T. Spies were married Saturday, at 12:30, P.M., at home of Professor and Mrs. H.F. Goodrich at 918 east Washington street, by the Reverend Charles M. Perry of Iowa City. The only guests were members of the N.N.N. club. Luncheon was served immediately after the ceremony.

Mrs. Spies, a charming young woman, is a daughter of the late Professor F.C. Eastman who was Head of the Department of Latin of the Univesity. She is a graduate of S.U.I., and a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority.

Lieutenant Spies is a graduate of the Liberal Arts college of S.U.I., and a graduate of the College of Law at Columbia.

Lieutenant and Mrs. Spies will reside at Des Moines as Lieutenant Spies is now stationed at Camp Dodge.

To these worthy young people a large circle of friends offer congratulations.
