A. C. JOHNSON, 90, taken in death

Albert C. JOHNSON, 90, 303 E. Adams, died at 1:45 a.m. today at the Nelson Nursing Home.

JOHNSON lived his entire life in Jefferson County. He was employed at the Louden Machinery Co. for a number of years prior to his retirement; he was a member of the first Christian Church, served on the church board and was active in Boy Scouts for a number of years.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Kincaid officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Albert C. JOHNSON was born May 21, 1892, in Fairfield. He was the son of Charles J. and Christina DAHLGREN JOHNSON. He attended Parsons College.

His marriage to Elsie DAVIS took place June 3, 1915, in Fairfield. She survives.

In addition to his widow, JOHNSON is survived by two sons, Albert, Jr., and Harold D., both of Fairfield; and a daughter, Virginia, Des Moines.

Other survivors include eight grandchildren and 16 reat-grandchildren (sic). He was preceded in death by one son and two brothers.
