CRAIL FUNERAL TOMORROW AT 2
From The Home Of Her Only Surviving Child B. F. CRAIL, Jr.

Elizabeth HOLTON CRAIL, wife of James D. CRAIL, died at the home of her son, Frank CRAIL, Jr., South Main street, yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Mrs. CRAIL suffered a stroke of paralysis last July, and has been confined to her bed continuously since. Two weeks ago, her condition seemed serious, and steadily grew worse, until death relieved her.

Grandma CRAIL was born December 25, 1838, in Kentucky. She came with her parents to Iowa during the Civil War, and located on a farm belonging to Mr. CRAIL, whom she afterward married. They resided there a number of years, then moved to Colorado and Kansas, living in those states about four years, after which they returned to Jefferson county, and after this time made their home here. Mr. CRAIL passed away twenty-eight years ago, and after his death, Mrs. CRAIL and daughter moved to Fairfield, where she has since resided.

Two children were born to Mr. and Mrs. CRAIL, Frank CRAIL, Jr., of this city, and Matilda CRAIL RATCLIFFE, the latter passing away five years ago, Sept. 1st. Since that time, Mrs. CRAIL has made her home with her son. She has many friends who will regret the passing of a good woman. For many years she has been a member of the Methodist church, and Dr. C. L. Tennant, her pastor, will have charge of the services at the Frank CRAIL home, South Main street, tomorrow afternoon. Mrs. C. M. Graham will sing two solos, "The Home of the Soul" and "Abide With Me."
