ROBINSONs to celebrate 40th anniversary

Rick and Rhonda ROBINSON of Fairfield will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with family on Sunday, July 23, 2023.

Richard Grove ROBINSON Jr. and Rhonda Lee STORY were united in marriage July 23, 1983 at the First Lutheran Church in Fairfield with the Pastor Keith Lingwall officiating. The wedding reception was held after the ceremony at Fairfield Elks Lodge. A highlight from their ceremony was of Rich serenading his new bride. They then spent their homeymoon at a resort in Arkansas.

The couple started their married life in Wellman, Iowa, where Mr. ROBINSON worked for eight years at Huber Farms. Mrs. ROBINSON worked as a CNA/PT at Parkview Manor for four years.

The couple then moved back to Fairfield to start their family. Rick worked for 14 years at Rockwell/Meritor before moving to John Deere Ottumwa Works, where he then worked for 21 years. He officially retired January of this year and is enjoying family time and spoiling his grandchildren. Mrs. ROBINSON worked at Fairfield Lumber Company for 27 years as a bookkeeper. She is now at home with their son Ross and enjoying time with family and staying busy with her grandkids.

The couple is blessed with two children: Rachel and husband Shawn DORMAN of Fairfield; and Ross ROBINSON of Fairfield. The couple has three grandchildren: Tinley, Easton, and Hudson DORMAN.
