Fairfield resident Ulala CONGER (GARRELS) will celebrate her 90th birthday on May 18, 2023.

CONGER was born in 1933 in Linby, Iowa. She graduated from Packwood High School in 1951, and has lived and worked in Jefferson County her whole life.
She married Orville CONGER on June 1, 1957 at the the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa.
Her children are Nanette (Ken) EVERLY of Batavia, and Russell CONGER (Lynn BRADFIELD) of Birmingham. She has five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed flower gardening, traveling, being with family and friends, and volunteering in her community.
