William LINDER, 84, Takes First Spin Among The Clouds.

One Fairfield man, William V. LINDER, has waited until he reached the age of 84 before investigating the joys and thrills of airplane travel, but is now eager to journey once more through the air lanes.

Mr. LINDER, who is now visiting his son, E. G. LINDER, today reported taking his first airplane ride at Des Moines during July. He rode in a large, tri-motored plane piloted by Col. Roscoe Turner.

The plane rode so smoothly that once he looked about to see if they had stopped, Mr. LINDER reports.
