Edna Holy Dies
Mrs. Holy Succumbs - Relatives and friends were at Sheldon, Sunday afternoon to attend the funeral services of Mrs. Russell Holy which was held at Temple Chapel in charge of Rev. Thomas Lutman. Burial was in Hull cemetery. Mrs. Holy was formerly Edna Merrill. She was born in Hull and spent her girlhood days in Hull.
She had been in poor health for some time and died at the age of 53 of leukemia in the hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
She leaves to mourn her early departure her husband, Russell; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Alice Colby of Fayette, Arkansas, and one grandson; her mother, Mrs. E. A. Merrill of Ames; three sisters – Mrs. Della Wallinga of Orange City; Mrs. Sadie Davis of Brewster, Minn., Mrs. Alice Norland of Spencer; two brothers, Freeman Merrill of Sheldon and Robert Merrill of Ames.
