Jesse Collins, 74, Dies Following Long Illness
Vandalia – Jesse Collins, 74, died at his home two miles south of Vandalia, early this morning. Mr. Collins had been confined to his home for 37 years.
Survivors include his wife with whom he had lived 47 years.
Funeral services will be held from the home at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Gayle Fisher of the Christian Church of Prairie City in charge.
Burial will be made in Vandalia cemetery.
