Patricia Faye Reynolds, 82, of Newton, Iowa, passed away on March 26, 2026, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Patricia was born on September 11, 1943, in Newton to LeRoy Bishop and Maxine (DeBruyn) Bishop. She graduated from Newton Sr. High School with the Class of 1962. On September 29, 2001, she was united in marriage to Slyvester “Junior” Reynolds Jr. in Newton.

Patricia dedicated 33½ years of her life working on the production line at Vernon Company in Newton before retiring in 2006. She took great pride in her work and the life she built for her family.

She found joy in the simple things—cooking meals that her children and grandchildren still talk about, sewing and quilting, coloring and drawing, fishing, playing computer games, listening to music, and working on puzzles. She was an avid bowler and spent many years in a bowling league in Newton. Above all, Patricia cherished time spent with her family. Holidays, gatherings, and game nights with her children and grandchildren were among her most treasured moments.

Patricia is lovingly remembered by her son, Jason J. (Tammy) Breckenridge; her daughter, Paula D. (Edward) Prentice; her grandchildren, Jennifer Mae Wooster, Jessica Faye Wooster, Levi Killinger, and Roman R.T. Breckenridge; her great-grandchildren, Mariah (Ryan) Lockhart, Kohlby Burns, Elaisia Whitley, Chillista Whitley, and Jenessa Whitley; and her brother, Louis LeRoy “Butch” Bishop.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Junior.

No services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Paula Prentice to assist with funeral expenses.
