Kellogg Pioneer Dies
Funeral Wednesday for Mrs. Merritt Gilreath, Who Died Monday
Kellogg, Ia., July 16: - Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the Christian church for Mrs. Merritt Gilreath, who died at her home Monday after an illness of several months.
Burial was made in the Antle cemetery.
Mrs. Gilreath was one of the pioneer settlers of Kellogg and one of the known women of the community. Her interests have centered around the work of the Christian church and her home.
Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter Mrs. Charles Myers and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
