Frederick "Keith" Warner, age 73, of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014 following a brief illness. Mr. Warner was born on July 10, 1940 in Ira, Iowa to his parents, the late Otis and Neva Prine Warner. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a grandson, Gavin J. Warner.
Mr. Warner was retired from the Hon Company of Cedartown, serving as an Industrial Engineer. Prior to his retiring he served as the R.C.I. Manager for Hon, having a long dedicated career of over 25 years of service to the company. Keith enjoyed work and many will remember him as the Owner and Operator of Warner's Union 76 Service Center here in Cedartown. Upon his retirement though, he continued to work closely with his family in the production of Signs and Banners for the public. He loved life, his family, his friends and the great outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and truly loved the sport. He was a proud member of the Iowa National Guard, having served in a variety of details and detachments and deployment exercises. Mr. Warner was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church of Cedartown.
He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Mrs. Judi Hess Warner; his sons and daughters in law, Eric and Lisa Warner, David and Tracey Warner and Chuck Warner; his daughter, Teri Warner; his sisters and brother in law, Jean and Bob State and Janet Clement; a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside and Interment services for Mr. Frederick "Keith" Warner were conducted on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Greenwood Cemetery with the Rev. John Ragland officiating.
