Former Area Resident Dies
Roy Frey, 71, of East Moline, Illinois, died Sunday, June 10 at a hospital in that city.
A former Mingo resident, he is survived by his wife, Reva, one son, Ronald, daughter-in-law, Carol, and two granddaughters, Robin and Sara, all of Orient, Illinois; three brothers and three sisters.
Preceding him in death were his parents and four brothers.
The son of Alan and Lola Frey, former Mingo residents, he was married to the former Reva Husson of Colfax and was retired after several years of service with International Harvester Company in East Moline.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the East Moline Baptist Church with burial in the cemetery in Silvis, Ill.
