The daughter of Dean and Billie Riggan (Kintz), Kim was born on March 26, 1966, at the Des Moines General Hospital. She grew up a tom boy, and it proudly stuck with her throughout her life. During school she was often described as the class clown. At heart, she was raised a daddy’s girl. Kim enjoyed roofing and fishing, just to spend some extra time with her dad. During school, sports were everything to Kim. She graduated from Colfax High School.

Kim worked most of her adult life as a CNA, but her title should have been caretaker. Whether she was doing maintenance or checking in on patients, she wanted to make connections and help them any way possible. Kim loved many things; the Iowa Hawkeyes, watching sports, playing bags, enjoying a bacon cheeseburger, bowling, watching crime shows, and mushroom hunting. Although she was mouthy and a little rowdy, Kim was described as the best big sister ever. A caretaker. She was a simple woman who had many passions and a colorful personality.

Those left to honor Kim’s memory include her husband; Steve Belloma, her children; Chelsie (Dylan) Slycord and Ashley (Cory) Clark, her siblings; Jackie (Paul) Deaton and Bobbi Riggan, her grandchildren; Rilee, Gaven, Olivia, Grahm, Kolten, Harrison, Stella, Hudson, and Boston, her beloved dog; Jax, as well as many aunts, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Preceding Kim in death were her parents; Dean and Billie Riggan, an aunt; Dixie Cook, her beloved dog; Jake, her grandparents, and many more aunts and uncles.
