Doyle Anderson Dies; Services Held May 5th
Funeral services for Doyle V. Anderson, age 64, were held on May 5, 1971, at 1:30 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home in Des Moines.
He passed away on May 1 at 12:30 p.m. at his home in Des Moines following a sudden heart attack.
Born May 13, 1906, at Runnells, he was the son of Charlie and Rhoda (Underwood) Anderson. He lived most of his life in Polk county.
Rev. Les Carlsen of Des Moines conducted the service. Lee Hill was soloist, accompanied by Mrs. Roberta Abbott. Pallbearers were Clair Beattie, Roy Winegar, Esten Enyart, Darrell Frazier, Glen Dougherty and Everett Meacham.
Burial was at Vandalia cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Laura Mae; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Irons of Runnells, Mrs. Merle Hampton of Des Moines and Mrs. Maude Snetselaar of Monroe; five nephews, two nieces, 10 great nephews and nine great nieces.
