Mrs. Frank Morgan, wife of a farmer three miles north of Colfax, was killed when a Rock Island passenger train westbound struck a bobsled in which she, her husband and her sister were riding. She was almost decapitated. Her sister was injured and the husband slightly bruised.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Adele who was born Nov. 29, 1890 and died Feb. 2, 1916. She is buried in the McKeever Cemetery.
