March 4, 1953 ~ January 11, 2017 (age 63)

Randy J. Priaulx, 63, of Baxter, formerly of Newton died on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at Skiff Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 18, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service and again after the service with a coffee time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials in Randy’s name may be left at the funeral home.

Randy, the son of Dwight L. and Audrey (Walker) Priaulx, was born on March 4, 1953 in Newton. He lived in Newton until 1954 when his family moved to Lima, Ohio for three years. In 1957, they moved back to Newton, where Randy lived until 2003 when he moved to Baxter. Randy worked as a truck driver, most recently for Hansen Farms. He truly loved driving truck and it was as much a hobby as a job. Randy also liked to do jigsaw puzzles.

Those left to honor Randy’s memory are his daughter, Jenna Priaulx of Baxter; Jenna’s mother, Pam Priaulx; his mother, Audrey Priaulx; brother, David (Sherry) Priaulx of Jackson, Tennessee; sister, Cindy (George) Wormley of Newton; step-mother, Nadine Priaulx of Newton; step-brothers, Gary Strobel of Newton and Tim Strobel of Kellogg; an uncle, Russell (Geri) Priaulx of Newton; and his nieces and nephews.

Randy is preceded in death by his father, Dwight L. Priaulx and grandmother, Florence Walker. ~ The Wallace Family Funeral Home, Newton, Iowa 11 Jan 2017.
