Katherine Jungwrith Dies Last Evening
Funeral Will Be Held Friday Morning – Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
Miss Katherine Jungwrith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Jungwrith, died at the Skiff Memorial hospital Wednesday evening a little after 5 o’clock from double pneumonia following an operation for appendicitis and tumor.
Miss Jungwrith had been in ill health for the past six weeks but submitted to an operation a week ago. It was thought that she would recover when pneumonia followed.
Katherine Jungwrith was born 19 years ago August 8, in Bohemia but came with her parents when but a child of three years to America. Much of her time has been spent in Newton where her father was employed at the One Minute Manufacturing Company. For some months Miss Jungwrith was employed by Dr. Dwight E. Hook. She has many friends who will sympathize with her parents in their loss.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Jungwrith and two sisters, Mary and Helen and one brother, Frank.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning from the Sacred Heart Catholic church at 10 o’clock. Burial will be made in the Catholic cemetery.
