Jon J. Nordskow, 61, a longtime resident of Colfax, died Friday, March 6, 1992 at his home.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 10 at the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax. The Rev. John McKinstry, pastor of the church, conducted the services. Burial was in Colfax Cemetery. Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax handled arrangements.

Survivors are his wife, Gloria; a son, Aaron of Colfax; three daughters, Jonni Wilson of New Providence, Sammye Cretin of Mesa, Arizona, and Robin Crise of Mitchellville; 10 grandchildren; his mother, Pearl Ware of Newton; a brother, Marion Myers of Omaha, Nebraska; and a sister, Darlene Winship of Albert Lea, Minnesota.
Also surviving are two half-sisters, Evelyn Ware and Judy Ware, both of Newton.

He was preceded in death by his father, Finn, and a sister, Jody Richards.

Mr. Nordskow was a self-employed roofing contractor in the Colfax area.

He was a member of the Howard Street Christian Church.

The son of Finn and Pearl Nordskow, he was born April 27, 1930 in Prairie City.

He was married to Gloria Thompson November 25, 1949 in Colfax.
