Eva Kain Pragel, 96, a former longtime resident of Prairie City, died Wednesday, July 15, 1992 at Doctors Hospital in Lakewood, California.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 20 at Olive Lawn Memorial Park in La Mirada, California.
Survivors are a daughter, Wilma Wagner of Early, Texas; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both of her sons, Delber and Wayne Kain, and her husbands, Edward Kain and Herman Pragel.
The daughter of Dirk and Sara DeHaai, she was born August 19, 1895 in Marion County.
She was married to Edward Kain in 1916, and following his death, married Herman Pragel.
Mrs. Pragel lived in Prairie City until this summer. She and her husband Herman had lived in Bellflower, California until his death in 1985.
