Funeral Services Today for Mary Miller

Funeral services for Mary Miller, 81, of Baxter, will be held Wednesday, December 31st at 1:30 p.m. at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Baxter.

The Rev. William Burns, will conduct the service. Interment will be in Restland Cemetery in Baxter.

Casket bearers will be Robert Warnell, Robert Warner, Richard Warner, Norman Price, Frank Cleverely and William Milligan.

Organist will be Jean Akins and duets by Mrs. Robert Johnson and Mrs. Douglas Deutsch. Selection are "In The Garden" and "He Touched Me."

Mrs. Miller died Sunday, December 28th at Skiff Hospital in Newton.

She was born September 8th, 1905 in Clear Creek Twp., Baxter to William M. and Nancy Jones Kline.

She has resided at Colonial Manors in Baxter since August 1986.

Boyd-Davis Funeral Home will conduct the services. memorials may be left at the funeral home.

Survivors include sons Harold Miller of Rhodes, Arnold Miller of Newton, a daughter, Mrs. William (Marilyn) Harsha of Baxter, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddier Miller May 6th 1983, one son, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

She was a member of UCC of Baxter and Baxter Senior Citizens.

She as married Jan. 13, 1923 in Marshalltown. ~ The Jasper County Tribune, Colfax, Thursday, January 1, 1987
