A sad affliction came upon Mr. and Mrs. Charles McFarland of this city, on Friday morning of last week, in the death of their only child, Morris, a boy of more than usual promise and brightness, aged 2 ½ years. The bereaved parents, as well as the stricken grandparents, have the heartfelt sympathy of this entire community in their sore distress. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. F. W. Evans, and the dear boy laid away on Saturday afternoon – the body to rest until the final resurrection, and the spirit to dwell with Him who has said, “suffer the little children to come unto me.”
