The death of Mrs. E. Atkins shocked very many of her friends. Her children were out attending a surprise party at Mr. McFadden’s when the pale messenger came, and after an illness of three hours she was no more. The hotel is still managed by Mr. Atkins, and will be in the same hands until the sale.
