We were pained to learn of the death of Claudie, son of B. F. Arnold, of the Kellogg Post. He died of diphtheria, December 16th, aged three years. A bright, beautiful boy, who has passed to the summer land in close succession to another son, who died in March last.
The funeral of Claudie was held at Lynnville, December 17th, attended by a large circle of sorrowing friends. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold have our deepest sympathies in this dark hour of their affliction.

We noticed the illness of one of Mr. B. F. Arnold’s children in our communication last week. This week we are called upon to chronicle its death. It was one of a pair of bright-eyed boys about four years old. Heartfelt sympathy is felt for the bereaved parents.
