Sylvia M. Felderman, 73, 1140 McGregor St., died at 11:20 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 1998, at Mercy Health Center St. Joseph's Unit.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, St. Donatus, Iowa, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Locust Street Funeral Home, 1145 Locust St., and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

She was born on Jan. 31, 1925, in Springbrook, Iowa, daughter of John and Sadie (Thompson) Ties. She married Lawrence J. Felderman on Nov. 18, 1960, in Galena, Ill.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, St. Donatus, and the St. John's Circle.

Surviving are her husband, Lawrence J. Felderman, of Dubuque; three sons, Loras (Phyllis) Arensdorf, Richard Arensdorf and Robert (Diane) Arensdorf, all of Dubuque; three daughters, Darla (Arnold) Mangler, of Delmar, Iowa, Betty (James) Rauscher, of Dubuque, and Sharon (Wayne) Kearney, of Onslow, Iowa; a brother-in-law, Richard Felderman, of Marshalltown, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Bendina "Benny" (Donald) Klett, of Dubuque; 19 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, four brothers and two grandchildren.

A Sylvia Felderman Memorial Fund has been established.
