Funeral Services: A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., at Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home in Cresco, Iowa.

Cemetery: Graveside Service officiated by Fr. Jacob Rouse will be held for Eugene at Howard Center Cemetery, Cresco, Iowa; where military honors will be accorded.

Survivors: Children Ronald (Brandie) Dotzler, of Dothan, AL, Randy (Virginia Golden) Dotzler, of Cresco, IA, and grandson Reed Dotzler.

Pre-deceased by: His parents, wife Elaine on June 10, 1985, and all of his brothers and sisters.

Marriage: Elaine Svestka June 27, 1962

Occupation: Farmer and he worked on the side for Concrete Products to provide the finances needed so his family did not go without.
