Allyn Daskam returned Thursday from Spencer, where he was called to attend the funeral of his wife’s sister, Mrs. Albert Peterson. Mrs. Daskam has been with her sister for some time and had recently taken her to Des Moines where she underwent an operation, her death occurring within a few days.

Transcriber’s Note: find a Grave shows this was Jennie. She was born Sep. 13, 1883 and died Oct. 24, 1920. She is buried in the Riverside Cemetery in Spencer, IA.
