Word was received by Cresco relatives the first of the week of the death of Peter Breen, at one time a resident of Cresco, but who has been living for several years at Butte, Montana, where he passed away. His death, which was very sudden, was due to heart failure and occurred Saturday, Oct. 2nd, with burial on Thursday, Oct. 7th. Mr. Breen leaves surviving him, his wife, who was Kate Griffin, a sister of Atty. Joseph Griffin of this city, and two adopted daughters, also three nephews, Reginald, Leslie and Paul Barnes of Cresco.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Oct. 1861. He is buried in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Butte, MT.
