Gus D. Paul, aged 35 years, passed away Wednesday morning of this week from pneumonia, following an attack of influenza. The funeral will take place at the home west of Schley at 10 a. m. to-day, conducted by Rev. Pless.

OBITUARY
PAUL
Gus Paul, oldest child of Frederick Paul and his wife Charlotte, was born at Lena, Stephen county, Ill., March 13, 1883. In 1890 the family came to Howard county, living near Schley. On Oct. 18, 1910, he was united in marriage with Miss Mary Buri. Four daughters were born to them. He passed away Wednesday, Oct 30th, following an illness of five days. Besides his wife and children he leaves to mourn his death, a mother, one brother and five sisters. Funeral services were conducted last Friday at the home and the remains laid to rest in New Oregon cemetery.
