Obituary of Mrs. Frank Smart.

Jennie H. Smart was born May 12, 1860, at Kingston, New York, and died Aug. 25, 1918 the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jessie H. Harris, of Manhattan Kansas.
She was united in marriage to Frank R. Smart April 2, 1888. In 1890 they moved to Elma, Iowa, where they resided for twelve years, thence moving on a farm northeast of Riceville. Later they moved to Saratoga township, and from there to Cresco. The latter part of her life was spent at Waterloo, where she had moved from Cresco.
She leaves to mourn her loss a large number of friends, her husband, F. R. Smart of Waterloo, Iowa, four children and two step children, L. W. Whitman, Grand Forks, N. D., E. G. Whitman, Waterloo, Iowa. Mrs. Frances Carman, Lime Springs, Iowa, Mrs. Jessie H. Harris, Manhattan, Kansas, Euphemia Auringer, Victor, Montana, and Charles Smart, Seattle, Wash.—Elma New Era

Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone in Howard Cemetery shows she was born in 1862 which does not agree with the above.
