Mary M. Clynch was born April 5, 1871, in Paris Twp., Howard Co., and died June 27, 1915. She received her education at a Convent in Dubuque, Ia. She taught school for a number of years, then went in training for a nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chicago for three years and has worked at her profession until two years ago when she was taken sick and was under the doctor’s care until God saw fit to call her home to everlasting rest. Twas but a few short days she was with us, always patient and smiling, though in pain. One great blessing that consoles us is her life was not spent in vain. She leaves to mourn her loss three brothers, James, at home, John, of Germantown, Minn., and William of St. Paul, Minn., and one sister, Mrs. Patrick Fitzgerald, of Lourdes. Five neices and seven nephews also mourn her loss.
The funeral was held on Tuesday, June 29, 1915. High mass being celebrated by Rev. Father J. J. Norris. Burial was at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
