Mrs. J. B. Barber pased{sic} away last Saturday morning after an illness of several weeks. The funeral was held Tuesday morning from the Church of the Assumption. We are promised an obituary for our next issue.

Some of our people attended the funeral of Mrs. Jesse Barber, of Cresco, Tuesday.

Transcriber’s Note: Iowa Gravestone Photos show this was Rose who was born in 1838 and is buried in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
