Just as we are about to close our letter this Monday morning we hear that Mrs. John Henning died last night. Mrs. Henning was afflicted with consumption for several years and every thing possible was done to check this dreaded disease but without result. She leaves a husband and three children, the youngest about five years old.

Last Tuesday, May 23rd, at 2 o’clock p. m. occurred the funeral of of{sic} Mrs. John Henning at the German Lutheran church at Davis Corners. After a short service conducted by Rev. Pless, the body was interred at the Saratoga cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: Saratoga Cemetery shows this was Anna who was born May 24, 1876 and died May 21, 1911.
