On Tuesday, Oct. 4, 1910, occurred the marriage of Miss Minnie Glincke and Mr. Theodore Schanfeldt at the German Lutheran church. The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Glienke, was dressed in pale blue silk and carried a bouquet of bride's roses. Misses Dorothy and Clara Miller acted as maids-of-honor. The groom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Schanfeldt, living two miles north of Elma, wore the conventional black and was attended by his brothers, Herman and Bernard. After the ceremony, they went to the home of the bride’s parents where a sumptuous dinner awaited them. They left on the noon train for Waterloo and Dubuque where they will spend a two weeks’ honeymoon, after which they will reside on the farm of the groom’s father, two miles north of Elma. This paper joins in wishing this worthy couple happiness and prosperity.

Transcriber’s Note: The bride’s maiden name is spelled two different ways
