SCHOOL HOUSE DESTROYED.
School House in Canaan Township Burnt Down Friday Night.

On Friday evening the school house in Canaan township, known as the Sheridan School was destroyed by fire. The cause was unknown, but it is thought it was caused from the stove. There was no chance of saving it when the fire was first discovered. The loss is covered by insurance.
