HUBBARD-Iva Clara Boddy, 92, died Saturday, July 20, 2002, at the Hubbard Care Center. Services were held Tuesday, July 23 at Boeke Funeral Home in Hubbard with burial in the Hubbard Cemetery. Rev. Harry Imlay officiated.
Iva was born Aug. 18, 1909, at Colo to Franklin and Lena Reingardt Etnier. She attended Colo Community School, graduated from Ellsworth Community College and taught rural schools at Colo and Iowa Falls. On June 24, 1931, she married Clarence Boddy and they lived in Iowa Falls before moving to Kansas where she did factory sewing during World War II. In 1959 they moved to Florida to make their home and Iva moved to Hubbard in 1997.
She is survived by two sisters, Pauline Maisel of Hubbard and Alice Lageschulte of Waverly, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1995, and three sisters, Mabel Squires, Alma Orth and Mary Lageschulte.
