MASON CITY-Marjorie J. Bolgren, 79, of Mason City, formerly of Iowa Falls, died Saturday, May 17, 2002, at the Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City. Services were held Tuesday, May 21, at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel in Mason City, with burial in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery, Mason City. Rev. Sarah Odoom officiated.

Marjorie was born Sept. 24, 1922, at Rolfe, to George and Geraldine Harland Holt. She attended Mason City schools and was a seamstress in the area for many years.

She is survived by six children, Dennis Smiley of Cedar Falls, Carolyn Riesen and Linda Sneed, both of Long Beach, Calif., David Smiley of Chicago, Ill., Kathy Fischer of Mitchell, and Charlotte Zieman of Ottawa, Kan.; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; and a brother, Richard Holt.
