APLINGTON-Carolyn Jean "Buffy" Kramer, 63, of Aplington, died Saturday, April 13, 2002, at her home. Private graveside services will be held Friday, April 19 at Pleasant View Cemetery with Pastor Ron Bartlett of the First Congregational Church, Parkersburg, officiating.
Carolyn was born Jan. 1, 1939, in Marquette, to Clarence and Marjorie Gress Fuller. She graduated from McGregor High School and on July 2, 1965, she married Dennis Kramer Sr. in Caledonia, Minn. They lived in several places before settling in Aplington. She had been a truck driver and a construction worker. She and her husband ran Hausman Trucking for several years. She enjoyed growing flowers, traveling the countryside in her convertible, and riding motorcycle to other states with her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis; three daughters, Cindy Sue Lowell of Oskaloosa, Brenda Anderson and her husband, Rod, of Parkersburg, and Marjie Rampot and husband, Randy, of Cedar Rapids; two sons, David Kramer and wife, Joyce, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Dennis Kramer Jr. of Appleton, Minn.; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Delores Schultz of McGregor, and Laura Fernau of Oelwein. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister, Clarice; and a brother, Wayne.
Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home of Aplington, was in charge of arrangements.
