Services for Emma E. Zrostlik, 91, of Garner who died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at the Westview Care Center in Britt were held 10:30 a.m., Saturday at the St. Boniface Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. John W. Hemann, Msgr. Roger O'Brien, Msgr. John Chihak and the Rev. Fr. Marvin Bries officiating.

Lector was David W. Zrostlik. Music was provided by organist, Mrs. Carolyn Kumsher who accompanied the St. Boniface Catholic Choir. Ushers were Duane Severson, Jim Reising and Maynard Beyer.

Honorary bearers were Lynne Reising, Susan Firsching, Pamela Stecker and Kimerberly Philavahn.

Casket bearers were Dr. Samuel TerBeek, Mark TerBeek, John TerBeek, Paul TerBeek, David W. Zrostlik and Joseph Zrostlik.

Interment was at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Duncan. Visitation was held Friday at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel, Garner.

Emma Eve Zrostlik, the daughter of Frank and Stella (Hejlik) Falada, was born December 23, 1907 at Duncan. She attended the rural schools near Duncan and worked for her father at his General Store in Duncan.

On April 29, 1930, she was married to Frank Leonard Zrostlik at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Duncan. They farmed south of Duncan and owned and operated Zrostlik Tire Service. In 1973, they moved into Garner. Emma had been organist for many years at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. She had resided at Westview Care Center in Britt since November of 1996. She enjoyed her family, friends, cooking and playing cards.

She was a member of St Boniface Catholic Church where she belonged to the Rosary Society and C.D. of A. She also belonged to the
Rosary Society at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and was a member of the Catholic Workman's Society.

She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn TerBeek of Woden and her four sons, Dr. Samuel TerBeek and his wife, Tammy, and their children Adam, Brittnay, Samantha and Brandi, Mark TerBeek, John TerBeek and Paul TerBeek and Angel and their children Kayla and Jaden; two sons, Francis Zrostilk and his wife, Barbara, of Clear Lake and their children, David Zrostlik and his wife, Joan, and their children Nicole, Graham, Evan and Ted and Susan Firsching and her husband, Dennis, Thomas Zrostlik and his wife, Louise, of Britt and their children Joseph Zrostik and his wife, Darla, and their children, Christopher and Jonathan, Lynne Reising and her husband, Jerry, and their children, Nicholas, Brianna and Christina, Pamela Stecker and her husband, Darvin and their children Andrew, Amanda and Anna Lee and Kimberly Philavahn and her husband, Vong; a sister-in-law, Bessie Falada of Clear Lake; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Zrostlik, May 11, 1994; a son, Jerry Michael Zrostlik, November 17, 1954; a son-in-law, Harold TerBeek, September 30, 1989; parents; five sisters, Helen Buzicky, Agnes Sweet, Mary Falada, Frances Falada and Cecilia Falada; and two brothers, Peter and Paul Falada.
