Wednesday, September 6, 2000Raymond (Jack) Trinkle, 74, Webster City, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cass Township Cemetery with Cindi O'Brien, ministry assistant officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2:15 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home on Wednesday.
Raymond Keith Trinkle, son of Lawrence and Geneva Crawford Trinkle was born Sept. 29, 1925 on a farm near Webster City. He attended Webster City schools. During World War II, he served with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific. On October 24, 1946, he married Juanita Joan Smith at Marion. The couple resided at Webster City. For two years, they resided in Australia and he was in the cattle business. They returned to Webster City, where he continued in the cattle business. He retired in 1978.
Survivors are his wife, Juanita, son Tom Trinkle of Webster City, grandchildren, Jason Trinkle, Ken Seiser, Dean, Kevin and Dan Luke; six great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Frasher of Marion, brother, Dick Trinkle of Cedar Rapids, several nieces and nephews.
