Jack Michael Loder, 14 months old, Ellsworth, died Friday, August 11, 2000 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Jewell with Pastor Dale Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at Homewood Cemetery in Ellsworth. Visitation will be Monday after 4:30 p.m. with the family present from 5-7 p.m. at the Becker Funeral Home in Jewell.

Jack Michael Loder was born June 4, 1999 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames to Shelli (Loder) Phillips. He was baptized at Bethesda Lutheran Church on September 26, 1999.

He is survived by his mother, Shelli Phillips, and his father, Ron Klonglan, both of Ellsworth; a sister, Chandy Klonglan, Ellsworth; a half brother, Cameron Stevens, Boxholm, a half sister, Hope Stevens, Boxholm; grandparents, Sue and Dave Nichols, Ellsworth and Lynn Maland, Ankeny; great-grandparents, Marjorie Guard, Radcliffe, and Andy and Jackie Anderson of Sheldahl; two aunts, Tami Wicks and husband Bryan and their children, Tristan, Brittany, Brylan and Taryn Wicks, Jewell, and Kim Michael of San Jose, CA; an uncle, Travis Klonglan, Panama City, FL; and his daycare provider, Missy Stouffer, Jewell. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Michael Jack Loder, Oct. 18, 1979 and David Maland, July 21, 2000; great-grandparents Jack and Mary Avis "Babe" Loder and Walter Ai Guard and John and Helen Nichols.
