Graveside services for Thomas Michael Calumet were held May 15 at Calvary Cemetery, officiated by Fr. Jack Flaherty, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

Thomas died at his home in Apache Junction, Ariz., on July 30, 2000 at the age of 37. His death was caused by bronchial asthma complicated by sleep apnea.

He spent his early years in Webster City and attended school there. He moved to Arizona with his family in 1984. Survivors are his wife, Mindy, daughter Jenny and son-in-law, Cody; sons Brett and Steven; mother JoAnn; brother Tony and sister Colleen; aunt and uncle Iona and Darwyn Williams; uncle, Peter Calumet; several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Tom and his twin, Teresa, at birth.
