Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Truax, 93, a longtime resident of Guthrie County, who died December 21 at Perry Manor, were held Wednesday, December 26 at the Bagley Church of Christ.
Rev Johnny Davis was in charge of the service. Mrs. Marie Becker was organist. Casket bearers were Lynn Durbin, Erven Pohl, Boyd Huston, Roy Ferguson, Ernest Barrett and M M Hidlebaugh.
Interment was at Dodge cemetery near Bagley.
Nora Winters was born May 6, 1880 at Angus, Iowa. She spent her entire life sice childhood in Guthrie County until her health failed and she became a resident of the Perry Manor in Perry three years ago.
She was married to William Truax January 11, 1899. Three children were born to this union, two daughters, Mrs. Opal Fisher of Coon Rapids and Mrs. Zelma Bullock of Bagley and one son, Hayden. She was preceded in death by her husband and son.
Surviving are her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
