Edmund Bryant Robertson died at his home in Goldendale, Washington on August 28, 1906 after a lingering illness of 2 years. He was born in Kentucky on October 22, 1830. His parents moved to Carroll county, Indiana when he was quite young. He came to Panora, Iowa in 1854 and was married to Sarah A. Brumbaugh August 16, 1855. Nine children were born to them, 6 boys and 3 girls. All are living and all except 1 were with him during his last sickness. He crossed the plains to Oregon with team in 1865. He lived there until 25 years ago, when he moved to Washington.

This obituary was found in a book at the Historical Valley Museum in Panora, Guthrie county, Iowa
