Thursday, June 5th, 1919George Lincicum, a veteran of the Civil War, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. M. J. Lowry, at Boise, Idaho, early last week. The body reached Sidney Saturday evening, accompanied by the daughter, and was taken from the train to the cemetery for burial.
For a period of thirty years Mr. Lincicum lived in Sidney. Following the death of his wife, some fourteen years ago, he lived alone for a considerable time, leaving here, six years ago for the west to make his home with his daughter.
During his long residence here Mr. Lincicum was regarded as an honorable, upright citizen, though somewhat erratic in temperament and with pronounced opinions on certain subjects that ofttimes found expression in manner bordering on violence.
Besides his daughter mentioned he is survived by one son whose home is at Colorado Springs.
