Estherville - Services for Selma C. Olson, 86, of Estherville will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Chapel in Estherville with Pastor Kermit Rye and Pastor Arlyn Norris officiating. Interment will follow in High Lake Cemetery in Wallingford. Visitation will begin after 4 p.m. Monday at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville. Olson died Saturday, Nov. 16, 1991 at the Good Samaritan Center in Estherville.

Olson was born January 11, 1905 to Ole and Hattie (Bondhus) Johnson in High Lake Township. She was educated in Emmet County schools, and graduated from Graettinger High School in 1923. She married LeRoy C. Olson on Sept. 6, 1927 in Wallingford. She taught school in the High Lake Township school, and following her marriage, the couple farmed west of Dolliver for two years before moving to a farm south of High Lake, where they farmed until 1949. They then moved to a farm northeast of Wallingford. Mr. Olson died in 1966. Mrs. Olson moved into Estherville in 1968. She was a member of the Wallingford Lutheran Church and the Estherville Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mrs. Harold (Thelma) Bailey of Wallingford, several nieces, nephew and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Leonard, her parents, three brothers, and one sister.
