Lorrie Ann Looft 1958-2021

Lorrie Ann Looft was born in San Bernardino, California on February 19, 1958, to Donald and LaVerne "Mickey" (Spriestersbach) Looft. She passed away, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Armstrong, Iowa on February 8, 2021 at the age of 62 years.

Lorrie and her family moved to Armstrong in 1970. She graduated from Armstrong High School in 1976. Following high school, she worked at Stokley Foods in Fairmont, Minnesota. She later obtained her CNA license and began doing what she loved, caring for others. She worked at Rosewood Manor in Estherville, Iowa and Valley Vue Care Center in Armstrong.

Lorrie enjoyed all sports, especially the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubs. She loved listening to Elvis Presley and country music. Her favorite hobby was reading, she always had a book or two in her hand. One of Lorrie's greatest joys in life was her only daughter Kristina and her three grandchildren. Lorrie genuinely enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Lorrie is survived by her daughter Kristina Tindall and her husband Bruce of Armstrong; her grandchildren John Tindall and Veronica Bodle of Wallingford, Iowa, Kaitlin Tindall and Nate Steffens of Armstrong, and Kim Tindall of Armstrong. She is also survived by her sister Anna Kingswan of Armstrong and her children Drew and Allison; her brothers Loren Looft of Armstrong and Dean Looft of Armstrong, and his children D.J. Looft, Dylan Looft, and Dena Looft, and many additional family and friends.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Don and Mickey Looft.

A private family funeral service was held Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the First Presbyterian Church in Armstrong.
