Cora Ellis Dies; Rites To Be Friday
Cora D. Ellis, 70, died Monday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital.

She had been in failing health for six years and a resident of the hospital for nearly three years.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Wallingford Lutheran church, the Rev. Robert E. Glaser officiating. Burial will be in High Lake cemetery. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Thursday until 10 a.m. Friday at the Reese funeral home. The body will then be taken to the church to lie in state until time of the final rites.

She was born May 6, 1894, in Graettinger, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.Torger Dahle. She received her education in Wallingford schools. On Nov. 28, 1917, she married William Ellis at Edmore, S.D. She lived in the Wallingford area since she was a small girl.

Her parents, her husband, and one daughter preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, William, of Wallingford; two daughters, Mrs. William (Hazel) Roy of El Campo, Tex. and Mrs. Lawrence (Dora) Temborg of Anacortes, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Enger Schultz of Lake View, Ore., and Mrs. Walter Thiel of rural Estherville and two brothers, Birney Dahle of Nekoma, N.D., and Clarence Dahle of Britt. Rites of Mrs. Cora Ellis at Wallingford
Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Ellis were held at the Lutheran Church here Friday afternoon, Pastor Robert Glaser officiating. Pastor B. Coltvet also spoke. Pallbearers were Kenneth and Raymond Theil, Merwyn and Ronald Dahlke, Bernard Isakson and Obert Rokne. Mrs. Will Roy, El Campo, Texas, and Mrs. Larry Tenborg, Anacortes, Wash., left Sunday to return to their homes. They had been here to attend the funeral of their mother, Mrs. Cora Ellis.
